One part cannibalized technology, two parts artistic tomfoolery, with a dash of circumstantial achievement and sprinkled with inadvertent creativity - Adventus Films is a film production company based in Western WA and Central FL.... and we are completely out of big, fancy words to describe said company! We are full-service, capable of taking a story, script or idea with any possible objective and turning it into a viable moving image from soup to nuts.

Our production workload consists of narrative short/feature filmmaking, documentary production, broadcast and internet commercial spots, company and self promotional videos, public service announcements.

Aly DelaCoeur
producer | client services

Earning her Business Management degree at Western Governors University and a Mathematics degree at Highline College, Aly is also an Animal Behaviorist, certified from the University of WA. Both the face and engineer of the popular "Why Does My Dog" video training and education website, Aly is no stranger to the nuts and bolts of enlisting talent and managing creatives. A natural entrepreneur and delegate for projects she's involved in, Aly is an ideal asset to have behind the camera.

Chris Taylor
owner | cinematographer | editor

Chris began his career shooting an M16 before taking shots as a camera jockey, producing documentaries in the U.S. Marine Corps. As the film-bug started chomping away, he left the military to pursue a less conservative career path in a more creative industry and soon earned his film degree at the Art Institute of Seattle. Influenced heavily by the lighting side of visual storytelling, Chris was brought up through the ranks as a gaffer as well as a cinematographer and editor.

Chris has shot several award-winning productions including Fantastic Confabulations, A Man, Buried, Butcher's Dozen, Karma Gettin' (Best Cinematography) and Scamp.

Jake Waluconis
gaffer | support crew

A graduate of Evergreen State College in Film/Media Studies, Jake immediately jumped into the grip/electric side of the local film industry. After his three-week stint on our shoe-string, Olympia-made feature Marla Mae and skillfully making all of us look bad, we immediately said, "Uh, yeah that's our guy". Soon after, he was decidedly hired onto the Adventus Team.
